St Heliers Penthouse Apartment

One of St Heliers Bay’s most stunning luxury apartment developments, it was wonderful to be invited to work on this prestigious project. Dunlop Design is thrilled to have been awarded the 2023 TIDA New Zealand Apartment of the Year for this stunning Penthouse.

With panoramic views of the Waitematā Harbour, one of Jennie’s favourite features was creating a mirrored splashback to reflect the views of Rangitoto. Planning a new build during 2020 was challenging. The client brief was a preference for timeless style with a contemporary overlay. Using natural materials and a neutral palette with an organic feel, we added warmth and tone by introducing marble, oak flooring, cabinetry, and tactile velvets. On completion in 2023, potential buyers could imagine adding their individuality to this spectacular apartment with panoramic views of Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour.

The ingenious creation of transparent walls of aluminium and glass walls allowed for depth to the sea view beyond.
