Project Description

Complete rebuild of original state house that had been previously extended in late 1970’s. Entire house on 2 levels was refurbished. We reconfigured interior walls to create a new open-plan kitchen/family living area, and retained the original position of formal dining and lounge.

Working within the existing footprint, with small extension, enabled the rear of the house to line up, and opened up with bi-folding doors to the new outdoor entertainment area. By moving the master bedroom upstairs we captured the sun and views and gained the bonus of a new en-suite and the conversion of small study into a dressing room.

A new enlarged family bathroom to service the guest bedroom and a new laundry were positioned upstairs Two reconfigured bedrooms downstairs share another new bathroom, with the old bathroom becoming a home office. An unused internal space was converted into a generously sized store room completing the transition from an unloved tired house into a well appointed light filled family home.
